What My 17 Fictional Crushes Revealed About Me (Thanks, AI!)

Lately, everyone seems amused by Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. For my sister and me? We’ve turned them into our love language—sending each other endless reels daily. A few days ago, we actually followed one of those dumb reel recommendations. Now, we’re obsessed with AI-themed reels, and this particular one suggested asking ChatGPT to reveal personality traits through fictional crushes.

I made a list of 17 characters from books, anime, and K-dramas, asked DeepSeek, and the answer was shockingly accurate.

My Fictional Crushes List:

2. Acheron Parthenopaeus (Dark-Hunter Series)

3. Dante (Devil May Cry)

4. Hisoka (Hunter x Hunter)

5. Indiana Jones (Indiana Jones)

6. Finn (The Librarian film series)

7. Hannibal Lecter (The Silence of the Lambs)

8. Prince Stefan (Barbie as Rapunzel)

The AI’s Analysis:

What Your Fictional Crushes Reveal About Your Personality

> Your list reveals a compelling pattern: You’re drawn to intellect, emotional complexity, and duality in relationships.

🔍 Attraction to Brilliant, Complex Minds

- Sherlock Holmes, Hannibal Lecter, Finn: Captivated by genius, sharp observation, and problem-solving. You value depth over superficiality.

- Howl, Gregori Daratrazanoff: Mystical figures suggest you crave mystery in meaningful connections.

Fascination with Moral Duality

- Acheron, Dante, Hisoka, Kamui: Drawn to antiheroes with ambiguous ethics. This means:

  - You embrace human complexity (light + shadow).

  - Emotional challenges excite you.

  - You seek intensity in relationships.

- Grim Reaper, Shin (Amnesia): Tormented yet protective—you believe love can heal deep wounds.

🛡Need for Protection & Loyalty

- Usui Takumi, Noah, Shin (Heartstrings): Cold exteriors masking devotion reflect your:

  - Craving for emotional security.

  - Love for actions over words.

  - Enjoyment of decoding reserved personalities.

- Stefan, Hijikata: Unwavering loyalty is non-negotiable for you.

🌪Thrill-Seeking & Challenge

- Indiana Jones, Dante: Adventurous charisma captivates you. This hints at:

  - Fear of boredom in relationships.

  - Need for constant mental stimulation.

  - Idealizing partnerships as “equal adventures.”

💡 The Verdict:

You have a deeply introspective personality that:

1. Craves intellectually stimulating connections.

2. Embraces moral complexity (unafraid of “darkness”).

3. Seeks protection without sacrificing independence.

4. Idealizes transformative relationships.

Key Caution: Your attraction to wounded figures (Acheron, Grim Reaper, Shin) hints at a protective instinct. Balance intensity with emotional stability!

Obsessed Alert: The Twisted School Drama That DITCHED Romance for Raw Survival!

"Hello again, everyone! Hey, you!! If you're the kind of person who loves twisted characters with complex backgrounds or simply enjoys watching the darkness in human beings, keep reading. I recently finished watching a South Korean drama – and when I say recently, I mean yesterday.

It's that kind of drama I live for. I thought I only hated one character, but honestly, it's probably because I don't like weak and cowardly people much. I don't need to mention people who betray their friends, right?

Anyway, this one has two seasons, and both are set in high schools. And don't think, 'Oh, another school drama.' Well, yes, there is bullying and violence, but there are also people who confront their fears, true friendship, and I'm glad to say there's no romance. No need for it!

The conflicts are solid, and the characters' backgrounds are well-crafted, giving solid reasons to understand what kind of people they've become. It has a pretty good rhythm without unnecessary scenes, so don't worry – there won't be boring parts.

Ah, you wanna know the title? Hahaha.

Weak Hero Class. Seasons 1 and 2. (And if you loved this, stay tuned because I'll be diving into the original webtoon it's based on another time!)

Loved diving into this world of complex characters and raw emotions with you! If dark, gripping stories without the fluff are your thing, make sure you hit that follow button on my blog. Don't keep the good stuff to yourself – share this post with your fellow drama enthusiasts! And I really wanna hear your thoughts... did you watch it? Who was your most hated (or secretly fascinating) character? Drop a comment below! 💬👍"

From Bedtime Stories to Literary Obsessions

Welcome to the place where I explore literature through my personal experiences and its connections to other art forms. If you love books, storytelling, or diving into creative discussions, you’re in the right place. Share your thoughts in the comments, and let’s build a vibrant literary community together!

Alright, let’s dive into today’s topic. I overthink a lot and sometimes struggle to decide what to talk about. That’s why, to stay true to myself, today I’ll share how my love for literature began—and through it, my love for all other arts.

Many children get bedtime stories or lullabies. I was one of those kids: my grandmother and mom sang to me, but my dad preferred telling me stories. However, he leaned into his own tastes, so he rarely told me traditional children’s tales.

The Odyssey or Robin Hood were my favorite stories, though I didn’t yet know they were literary classics. And since my dad was a fan of the film adaptation of the latter, featuring Bryan Adams’ song, we’d badly sing along… not because we didn’t know the lyrics, but because we’d replay it endlessly.

These are two stories I later had the chance to read, confirming that I genuinely loved them—not just because of my dad’s animated expressions while telling them.

Later, I started reading with my mom. The first book we read together—and one of my favorites—was The Egyptian by Mika Waltari. That was the moment I discovered my love for history and the start of the journey that led me here. Recently, I also found out they made a film adaptation of this book in 1954.

If these stories of The Odyssey, Robin Hood, and Sinuhe, the Egyptian sparked something in you—whether nostalgia, curiosity, or a craving for more literary adventures—I invite you to dive into the full post. Share your own memories in the comments: What book or story first ignited your love for literature? Let’s keep this conversation alive, swap recommendations, and celebrate the magic of stories that shape us. Don’t forget to follow up for more reflections where literature, history, and art collide. Until next time, happy reading!

"GBAD by Jackson Wang: The Raw Power of Authentic Art"

Title: "GBAD by Jackson Wang: The Raw Power of Authentic Art"

Understanding ourselves as human beings is a journey that takes different time for each person. Truly knowing what lies deep within us may be life's greatest challenge—and so much depends on it.

These thoughts flooded my mind while watching Jackson Wang's latest music video, GBAD. I was instantly drawn not just to the clever wordplay merging "good" and "bad," but to how powerfully it explores both concepts. Every element—the music, lyrics, and visuals—pulls you into Jackson's introspective world.

What I admire most is raw honesty in art. Jackson has mastered the ability to express himself fearlessly, revealing uncomfortable truths many shy away from. It reminded me of a saying from my culture: "Be kind, but never a doormat"—a warning to those who give endlessly without boundaries, only to be taken advantage of.

The video's subtle nods to The Mask (Jim Carrey's iconic film)- this is only my weird brain making connections- and its clever dark humor perfectly balance the weight of its message.

The Takeaway:
Too often, we hide our true selves for acceptance. But fake connections breed empty security. GBAD challenges this cycle—and its message deserves to be heard.
